One of the largest parishes in the Milwaukee Archdiocese, St. Mary's wanted to rebuild their website from the ground up. What was done originally as a volunteer effort by a parish member languished for months without updating, and the site needed an incredible amount of work to bring it up to today's standards. SVJ Designs started with nothing, and worked cooperatively with the parish staff to create a site that is useful to current and prospective parishioners.
Recent updates have enabled the church and school staff to manage the content independently. Nearly every page on the website can be modified by authorized and trained staff members, who also have the ability to upload files, modify the navigation menu items, and reorganize information at will. Each administration area is permission-based, so volunteers can manage certain information, while staff has more access, and select staff members have the most access and control over the site and its functions. For the more complex changes and updates, as well as adding new features as needed, we provide ongoing consulting, support, and development services to make improvements and maintain a high level of usability, compatibility, and valuable features for staff and parishioners alike.

We love working with small, independent businesses and Sunrayz Tan is an example of that. Serving the people of Muskego and nearby communities, this locally-owned business wanted a way to represent their services while also having a way to update their website with information that changed regularly.
We have provided them with a website that is compatible with a wide variety of browsers, including mobile devices, with the capability to update their monthly specials at any time via an easy online administration tool. We work with them to update other areas of their website when necessary, which gives them the flexibility and excellent results that they wanted!
The Business Administrators Archdiocese of Milwaukee is an association of business professionals who work in parishes and schools as Directors of Administrative Services, Business Managers, Administrative Managers, and Bookkeepers.
What began as a redesign project to bring the site to more current standards and easier to maintain was just the beginning of a long relationship that has seen the site grow into a valuable tool for member communication, information sharing, and resource management. Over time, sophisticated tools have been added that allow for a high level of content management, flexibility, and utility.
This active club of Porsche owners needed a website that could be maintained easily by one of their members, while still containing advanced features that aren't just copy-and-paste templates and embedded objects. We developed a website that provided them with the ability to change much of the content, manage the flow of information, and provide features to their members that were not possible before.
Their printed newsletter was replaced with an online version, which saved the club the costs of printing and mailing hundreds of newsletters, and it freed resources to continue improving the information on the website.
A recent design refresh introduced a new look that reflected the fun experience of owning, driving, and appreciating Porsche automobiles. We integrated their events into the blocks of information so that the front page was always showing something fresh, updated, and relevant to the membership. Their coordinator has the ability to post reports of recent events, update their calendar of meeting and driving events, and add new photos whenever they wish.
Random Lake, Wisconsin

The owners of a new vacation rental home on a beautiful lake in Southeastern Wisconsin were looking for a website that would allow them to show potential customers what their property had to offer, what their guests would be able to do in the area, and to have an online reservation and availability calendar to make reservations easy. Since this was a new rental, they also needed assistance with publicity and marketing to get the word out and build traffic to their website.
What we designed was a very clean and easy to read website that uses a flexible foundation that is easy to update and is very compatible with a wide variety of software and devices. The site features plenty of photos to show off the rooms in the house and the views of the lake that their guests will enjoy, a calendar of events that the client is able to maintain so they can provide a list of the most interesting events happening in the area, and a reservation calendar which provides potential customers with immediate knowledge of when the rental is available and a contact form in which to contact the owners and make the necessary arrangements.
